In a few short words/sentences, tell us about your cat's personalities.
Caesar is a very independent cat. He is also a free spirit and loves being outside. He’s not a lap cat but as he has got older he has become more affectionate in his own way. And he loves a good chat!
How has your cat transformed your life from the moment you've met him till now?
It’s true that any animal brings your joy and happiness. And Caesar certainly filled a hole that was in my heart.
What does your cat mean to you?
Caesar is my son, my boy. He is my world and I would do anything for him. He makes me smile every day, even if he’s being annoying!

How did you and your cat first meet? Tell it to us in the form of a short story.
I had been looking for a rescue cat for a while but hadn’t found one that I felt connected to. Then I found Caesar on the RSPCA website. I was looking at his photo and my friend saw it and said: “He’s the one.” That weekend I went to see him and it was love at first sight. He cried all the way home and ended up losing his voice for 2 weeks. The only sound he could make was “Meh”!!
What do you think your cat thinks of you?
I’m definitely the food giver and the door opener!! But I think we are best friends too.
Your cat is part of your family. What are some things they do that make you think that consider you part of theirs?
I love that he always comes and checks up on what I’m doing and will just sit in the same room as me. Or just wants me to sit outside with him. As if he just likes my company.

Why do you feel that it is important to show the world that Cats are Family?
When Keefe told me about his idea of a Cats are Family campaign I thought it was great. I was excited to be a part of it but also to help him bring it to life. For me, it was about not feeling “weird” saying I have a son or talking about Caesar with people and have them think “oh he’s just a cat”. He’s not just a cat! He is my son, my boy, my family. I want to change people’s perceptions about cats and that fur kids are just as important, and challenging, as non-fur kids.
