He is a rescued Domestic shorthair!

He is currently 10 weeks old.

In a few short words/sentences, tell us about your cat's personalities.
Nugget is a crazy little boy who is not afraid of anything! He is very playful and gets the zoomies quite often, but also loves to cuddle and sleep with us and he will lick our faces every morning to wake us up!
How has your cat transformed your life from the moment you've met him till now?
Nugget appeared on week 3 of lockdown, of a total of 7 weeks. Since then he has made our days better, we spend hours playing with him or just watching him sleep. He definitely made lockdown easier and our travels around New Zealand way more exciting!
What does your cat mean to you?
Nugget is our family now. He is a friend, our son and he gives us love and happiness in return.
How did you and your cat first meet? Tell it to us in the form of a short story.
We were travelling around New Zealand when lockdown started and decided to stay in a campsite, which is when he first came into our lives. Another woman that was staying in the campsite was walking her dog by the river and the dog heard some loud meows coming from a pile of wood. It was our Nugget. He was 3 weeks old back then and needed a safe place to become stronger and heal from diarrhoea, so we kept him in our campervan with us. After a few days of taking care of him, we decided to keep him forever.
What do you think your cat thinks of you?
In the mornings when he licks our faces, we are his parents. When we are out on walks we are his buddies and safe place.
Your cat is part of your family. What are some things they do that make you think that she considers you part of theirs?
He follows our voice when we are out on walks and will cuddle into us when we are driving.

Why do you feel that it is important to show the world that Cats are Family?
Recently someone left a comment on one of our posts saying that the world was truly falling apart because we walk our cat. Also, we had some people telling us that we should leave Nugget in NZ once our visas expire. Nugget is our family. We wouldn’t consider going for a hike one day and leaving him behind. We wouldn’t consider moving out of a country and leaving him behind. Would you leave your child behind in a different country because you had to move? We want him to discover the world, to run and to live his life to the full. And we want him to do it with us, because, we are sure he loves it as much as we do.
